AP at NVC

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what is NVC looking for when you get AP there? Our I-129F K3 got AP, lucky us.

Also, can NVC deny a case??

NVC is supposed to gather paperwork and make sure everything is complete so the Consulate doesn't have to worry about that end of things. If they do AP there, it just means they are going to take their merry time tracking down whatever the heck they feel they need to further investigate. But ultimately, they'll pass whatever they assemble on to the Consulate and that is who has the final word on visa approval or denial.

Thank you guatetaliana, I had no clue of what AP was per NVC. Surpised me that NVC does AP, HUH???

They dont have much to work with the I-129F 2 sets of G325A forms, marriage cert, my divorce papers, and my birth cert.

Thats all I filed for the K3, all the good stuff including a 10# evidence notebook was with the I-130 .

Oh well lets see how long it takes.

I dont know what to do. I may start the I-130 and see how far we get , I pray we get out of AP by Aug. 31st. Only problem is his Algerian PCC expired, and it takes a while to send from Algeria to Paris. IWe hit every brick wall in sight.

first u had to wait long long time NOA2 and now u got the AP. i am so sorry for what u r going through. it sucks but god is great and hope u have a quick and smooth visa journey from now on, best of luck. abby n sheryl
