Does K1 applying for AOS need TB test?

Hello all,

My husband came on an K1 in June, we got married and now are filing for AOS. We have a civil surgeon that is transcribing his vaccinations onto the I-693, my question is, does he need to do the TB test as well? He did not have one done in Argentina for his K1 medical. The doctor says for K1 he does not need it, is that because he is assuming he got one done in Argentina? Any comments would be helpful. Thank you!!

I believe it is required.

For the initial medical it's usually not a TB test I think. They do the x-ray first and if it looks like he may have had or currently have TB they'd do the test. Did he bring an x-ray in with him?

He does have his X-ray....But they did not do TB test and his xray was cleared as fine.
