Not a K-1 issue but...

Means your petition was transferred to the CSC - this is usually a good thing because it (typically but not always) means your case will eventually get approved without an interview.

We did file a K1 visa...

Anyway..

I was asking what this means because I got a notice before that the file had been transferred to CSC. Does this mean that they are now actually reviewing it?

Means your petition was transferred to the CSC - this is usually a good thing because it (typically but not always) means your case will eventually get approved without an interview.

Doesn't mean they're actually reviewing/adjudicating it - it does mean that when they do, and if everything is in order, you will very likely not have an interview. Still have to wait the typical time though - you'll just likely skip the interview stage. It's a good thing.

it is indeed a good thing! same thing happened to my case...was transferred and approved without interview!
