the hubby and I managed to get our family tent up over the weekend. I haven't got the tent out in like 4 years. The last time we were in there, there was a spider in the tent and i came charging out of the tent like a mad woman and busted the zipper and never bothered to put it back up again ( i was traumatized...lol) Well my brother invited us to go camping and i knew we had to repair the zipper but funny thing, the zipper works just fine, it's a miracle! don't know how that could happen but I won't argue.

Good morning!

I've lots to do today. Make arrangements for the dog, call to get an estimate on a new roof, and make an appointment to get the car in the shop . Then there is battling this heat and cleaning. I wanna just stay in bed.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Morning Peeps,

Hope you had a restful weekend.

Maureen, you sound more and more like me. I haven't gone camping in oh, probably, 5 years.

I just love camping. I have a huge tent too but due to my husband's schedule we can't go on any weekend excursions and he certainly won't let me go without him.

It was an exceptionally hot and humid weekend. I was so happy to get to the pool yesterday.

I still have way too much school shopping to do, but thank god I made a dent in it.

Monday....yuck....already thinking about the end this week and having off on Labor Day, Monday!! :dance:

Morning MENA...on the second cup of coffee...not wanting to be at work. The fire alarm went off this morning at work at 7:45 and I was praying something would burn and they would send us home...no such luck. :( Hubby and I had a nice weekend. He is still looking for a job so please pray for us. If anyone is in the Coastal NC area and needs event photos taken let me know..I'm available. Also...if anyone needs old photo restoration or cool photoshop effects on your photos...let me know too. Hubby is really awesome with the effects and did some great work to some engagement pictures I took for a couple last week. I can e-mail examples and of course, it would be for a small fee. :)
