my interview experience:

i wake up early at 3am, i went to US Embassy at 5am, i just found out that my DS Forms 156 that i have is invalid i did not notice this bar code on the last page and one thing wrong i just handwritten it which is not good and i have been told its not acceptable, ok i went to the nearest printing area and print my new DS form 156 and it cost 245pesos and it cost too much but i dont have choice, a fixer help me to find this place, not far from US embassy, then i rush back to US embassy and show my interview schedule with my voters ID, and fall in line, ok everything went well, its so cold inside the US Embassy, then i fall in line for them to check all my DS forms and my interview schedule then they gave me a number they always said to some beneficiary to never leave any blanks on the forms, after few minutes then they called my name and done my finger scanning, then like an hour, i saw my number on queue board and i went for my pre interview and go the specific window, its a filipino interviewer

She ask me this

My NSO birth Certificate

My cenomar- (my certificate of no marriage is one month old)

My NBI - (my nbi clearance is 1 week old)

Whats the name of your petitioner

His job?

How old is your petitioner?

Whats your relationship to your petitioner?

When and how did you met

If i have work?

Is your petitioner have kids/children?

When was the first and last visit?

Age gap? 15 years

If we have traveled together?

how many times he visited me?

if i have kids?

if i am married now?

She ask my fiance' affidavit of support and i show her my folder, and what i did is remove it one by one from my plastic filler because she just want to staple it and so that the consul can easily read, she get the following:

Military ID copy

Notarized Affidavit of Support Form 134

Form 1040 Income Tax return 2008

Pay Stub end of 2008

Form W2 for the year 2008 only

she didnt ask the bank statement although she just look at it and didnt ask any divorced decree and she didnt ask any of the previous marriage of my fiance

she ask me if we have pictures together and i gave to her my 2 folders:

Evidence of Genuine Engagement:

Our Letter of Intent to Marry with Love Story

Engagement Ring Receipt

Engagement Day with Family Pictures (with captions)

Engagement Ring Photos (with Captions)

Evidence of Meeting Prior to the Petition:

Fiance Copy of US Birth Certificate

Fiance Copy of US All Passport Pages

All Hotel Receipts with other receipts used during visit

Evidence of Solo and Pictures together (with Captions)

Itineraries from Travel

Thats it, then after 1 hour i saw my number on queue board and i went to the final interview, and he greet me good morning and he told me to sit down and raise my right hand, that i am swearing all the information that i have submitted are true and i will be honest to all the answers, and i said YES! his young around 30's

here his questions. while he is typing on his computer

When was the first and last time you saw your fiance?

when and how did you met?

and how many days?

how could you marry a person if you just spend a short days with him? he repeat this question twice to me and i repeat the same answer

is your fiance is still in iraq?

what his job in Army? Chief---CW4

if i have kids?

is your petitioner have kids?

have you been traveled outside the Philippines? my answer is NO, not yet and never

have you been traveled together?

if i was married before?

and he check my cenomar, nbi and birth certificate and DS forms and he said OK YOUR VISA IS APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he talked fast and i answered fast, i think my final interview to him is just 2 minutes

i just notice he didnt ask this from me because iam ready to show it:

any emails and chats

remittances

letters together

copy of cards sent by my fiance to my mom and my letter

fedex receipts and fedex received package photos

our webcam pictures online

our call history online

on my pre interview and my final interview i saw our I-129F APPROVED STAMP from national visa center, our G-325A with my fiance's 2X2 pictures there, if i am not mistaken the photocopy of my fiance passport all pages and birth certificate, the divorced decree of my fiance is attached there, and the letter of approval from NVC are attached together with my medical result completed from St. Lukes and all my DS forms with my birth certificate, cenomar and nbi, and all my fiance affidavit of support that the pre interviewer get from me, i notice its a bulky documents that they put together with my passport. but i didnt saw our emails and pictures that my fiance sent to Vermont Service Center, the final interviewer bring back my 2 folders and thats it.

I think that would be my travel document that i will carry on.

Thanks God! i didnt feel nervous during my interview, coz i was talking to my fellow beneficiary that having problem to their process, i feel sad for them, when im done with my final interview i keep looking for them but i didnt saw them, hope their visa is approved also.

Keep faith everyone, its a rewarding feeling to be approved!!
