I'm wondering how many helicopters are in the Taliban inventory?

In fact, it would be interesting to compare their military budget to ours.

I think you can legally buy a ex-army tank, but leaving aside the abominable gas mileage using it on public roads is frowned upon.

Yes, you can do it, but local authorities don't like the damage they do to the roads. Not surprisingly the costs involved in buying and running one of those reserve it for the most eccentric of people.

the article mentioned the treads were altered to limit damage to the roads.

now that it's been answered the UK allows individuals to own tanks :whistle:
