IV Fee Generation

I just called NVC to see if the AVR had updated for our case at all. The message said: "The Immigration Visa Fee Bill letter has been generated on August 6, 2009 and will be sent within the next few weeks."

However, that was the day that the AOS Fee bill was generated. I'm a wee bit confuzzled.

Hrm - checked the online payment system, it appears they have generated the IV bill! It's current status is "NOT PAID".

Weird.

I haven't paid either fee yet. I'm just going nuts because the DS3032 was only submitted on July 29, and the IV fee was apparently generated on Aug. 6. I also haven't received an email about it.

you can pay your iv bill now, it will say PAID next day than , once you received your IV bill in mail, it will say NOT PAID again, until system catches up with your IV bill.(Which according to system paid earlier than generated) And that might , i said might delay your case by little. Most people have ot seen any delay because of this , but why risk it? If the system said IV bill generated, You will sure get am email in next couple of day , or max i would say a week.

Sorry you has a confuzzled...

When you check online, do you have access to both bills? If so... pay them and wait until they generate the Bar-coded sheets. I found that the AVR was always way out of whack with a lot of things, you have to match it up with what the online payment thing says and what you've actually done...

You know?

Did I confuzzle you more? i hope not...

I just called NVC to see if the AVR had updated for our case at all. The message said: "The Immigration Visa Fee Bill letter has been generated on August 6, 2009 and will be sent within the next few weeks."

Nah, Lgg, you never add to the confuzzlement. :)

Funny enough - I received a written email (not a generic letter!) this morning from NVC:

"Dear Sir or Madam,

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has received the Agent of Choice selection. The Immigrant Visa

Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated

agent (petitioner) on the case. The fee must be paid according to the

instructions before the instruction packet will be sent.

Oh well then you are good to go, cherie...

They've accepted your choice of agent -- I assume you emailed it? WHen they accepted ours it was an 'email' as well, not an official NVC document.

So this means that you'll be able to pay your IV bill, wait for it to process is paid, print out your barcoded cover sheet and mail all that shizzle off.

Both the AOS and the IV at once, aren't you?

Anyway, it's all good...

They're up to snuff on your file and this is a good thing.

:D

Yes'um, going to send both packages in at the same time. I've gotta wait until I get the IV invoice because I've got to send a money order in and can't send it in without the fee bill.

Sounds like you're good and I am just yammering. I found that NVC has their own special timeline for things -- we waited for yonks for our Choice of AGent to be accepted and thus... the IV bill THEN they RFEd us for the IV package?

Anyway... sounds like you're golden...

Are you serious? I wonder what's going on, I could not get through to them all day today -- didn't bother with an operator -- maybe they all got their lunch breaks cut or something?

I'm sorry that they're such rejects... how long can it take to send a damn email?

Here, have a gold star :star:

Better?
