I already tried printing it off and see if it fits then but it doesnt.. I'm sooo about to throw my pc out of the window.. help pleasee!!!

Don't worry-just correct it with a pen. I had to write some stuff in also (i.e. when I typed my occupation online, it didn't entirely fit in the space). I'm computer illiterate and didn't have the patience to try to fix it on the computer!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

So do you think it will be okay if I hand write it? I really don't want to get a RFE... plus a friend of mine is taking the forms with her to the USA and give it to my fiance since mail sucks here in Venezuela.. so I dont want to know later that the forms dont work! lol cuz thiis is our chance to get them up there soon!... so I just want to make sure that I wont get a RFE if I handwrite some of the answers...

I also have a doubt where it says "Applicant's last address outside the United States of more than one year." I'm guessing I just have to put my current address since I'm not living in the USA right now...and where it says "To Month Year" I'll just answer "present" is that alright?? and I guess I'll handwrite that too cuz it doesnt fit in the blank.. thanks

It is a known issue with the form - hopefully they will correct the document one of these days... (don't hold your breath though)...

Hand-writing on the form is perfectly fine.

Yes - last address outside the US (for you) would be your current address.

Skip it. Print it, and write it by hand. Do not waste time on government SNAFUs, ink is perfectly acceptable in whole or part on any form.

Congratulations on finally getting to the petition!

I gave this answer so many times last week that it looks like spam... LOL...

Adobe Reader has a tool call typewriter!

Open your g-325a.pdf file

click on Tools

drag the mouse to Typewriter

click on Show Typewriter Toolbar

that tool allows you to write over any part of the form

and you can change the size of the text , spaces and font.

If you have any questions you can reply me! good luck!!!

The new form only prints out one copy. Does this mean they only need one copy now and not four?

You can leave it blank, print it and handwrite it, OR use a two digit year. It will give you an error message, but just keep going.

Good to see you are finally filing the papers! Good luck Jen

This hasn't really been clarified by USCIS yet (to my knowledge...), so to be safe, always always ALWAYS print FOUR! :) Better safe than RFE, ya know? GOOD LUCK!
