i Hope all Are ok

my case in Dhl i check it daily it say Scheduled For deliver as Agreed

one day i wake up and check it i found it Departed Facilty....

I became So much happy and i called Dhl Cus Service they told me ur package left the embassy and u will get it tommorw

,life Became much changed i said alhmdullah i will be with my wife for ever isa

i just thinked y i wait till 2morrow to get my package*(Pasport&*visa)

so i decided to call them and ask them if i can go nw to dhl to get it

he asked me about my reicept number and he said sorry ur package still in embassy OMG

i found my self just say to h8im how come i check it online and u told me its out from embassy now

he said yes sir it maybe mistake from embassy theny gave us ur package and they toke it again

,i dont know if lied with me or not

i went back to dhl web site and cecked my package status its became shceduled for deliver as agreed again

how much this hurt me and hurt my wife

walhee its big game i hope it done soon to be with my wife coz i realy need her and she also need me so much

i just said that to tell any ne when u see ur status changed in dhl web site just give them time before u change ur feelings!!!

plz any one who check the dhl what mean Shecduled for delivery as agreed this is for all cases(Standerd)

and u see ur case is updated twice per week?

i know how disappointing that is, we had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago, where it said Departed Facility, but it actually wasn't. It was another two weeks before we actually received the passport/visa back. You should have your wife email the embassy asking about the status of the case, they are usually more friendly with the US Citizen than with the Egyptian citizen. She can also call the Department of State and find out about the status of it from them. If you find them saying that you are under "Consular Officer's final review" then you are out of AP and should be receiving your visa soon. I would not rely solely on DHL for reasons that you now understand... they have issues. The "Scheduled for delivery as agreed" is just an automatic message that is posted when their system updates itself every few days. It doesn't really mean anything. When your package leaves the embassy it will say that it has Departed the Facility, has arrived at the Sort Facility, and has been transmitted to the Courier for delivery. Hope that helps.

i just dont wanna call embassy anddont wanna my wife call them coz i heard its better to wait

walhee if they know how much my wife need me and how much i need her ,if they know how much tears ,how nights we not sleeping they will send it now

i have nothing to do right now just say ya allah and make dua

Walhee life mean nothing for me since i see my wife in this position

Thats what they told me when i went to them to send my passport . they siad it means that they are ready and waiting for your passport .so in fact it means nothing .

Be patient bro i know how it feels .it has been more than 2 years since my fiancee was here in my arms last time .

Calling the embassy won't do any good, you need to email them at consularcairoIV@state.gov and ask them about the status of your case. put your case number (the one beginning with "CRO") in the subject line along with your name, and put it in the body of the email as well. just tell your wife to politely ask for the status of your case. doing this once a week, or every other week doesn't do any harm. It also does no harm to call the Department of State --- that's why they have a phone number, for people to call and check on the status of their case. Don't stress yourself out for no reason. Call and find out what's going on! They will be able to give you more relevant information than anyone here on VJ will because they actually KNOW THE STATUS OF YOUR CASE.
