I think Obama is just waiting till he is relected because then he'll have a mandate.

I am not too concerned with the public option (though I was willing to pay more taxes to help those uninsured), I want insurance reform. Someone has got to put a stop to the soaring costs and ridiculous rules. I shouldn't have to worry when taking my child to the ER in an IN NETORK hospital about whether the ER doctor on-call is IN NETWORK too. Also the covering everyone, if they have pre-existing conditions or not. And what is this shift in the last five years to not cover pregnancy? I noticed when shopping for insurance last year that all of the policies, up to $1200/a month did not cover that.

Socialized Medicine isn't the way to go.. Let's hope they come up with a better plan!!! Like the $5,000 a year health rebate that John McCain had , I could buy pretty good coverage for $400-500 a month for my family, At least I could pick my plan and Doctors this way

What coverage can you buy for your family as an individual for 400-500 a month? I'd really like to know 'cause the group plan that my employer offers costs right about twice the high end of your figure and carries a 500/1000 deductible with 90/10 split after that. So, if I can go out and buy a plan like that for my family for half the cost or less, I'd certainly be interested.

You see folks, RIGHT HERE is the Problem with THE SOCIALIST MIND-SET.
