Cowards! Dogs! This tells me they don't actually believe in it. If they believed in it they would just go against the screams at the Town Halls knowing that the public would eventually see how much better government run healthcare is and thank them by reelecting them.

Despite what the media says, it was not republican opposition that killed it. It was the constituents in the democrat districts that killed it. There were plenty of democrats that were not supportive of the government option. Technically the dems could have passed it however they wanted it, and obama could have signed it. However, they would have paid a huge price at the polls. They needed everyone on board or their plan for permanent control fails.

I think they used it to give the banks STIMULUS money last year after they screwed the economy giving OUR money to people who didn't deserve it and couldn't pay it back.
