An easier solution would be to poison unhealthy food, etc., so the more you eat, smoke, whatever, the sooner you die. It just speeds up what you are doing to yourself anyways.

But then we'd still have to give them emergency care.

There has to be a way to simply kick you out if you enter a KFC.

Perhaps a poison that is painless, and remains dormant until you reach a certain saturation. Then you just keel over, and die. No cure, no antidote. Suicide by Burger King.

Yeah, they don't have that right yet, it's poisonous and kills, but slowly and expensively.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I'd rather use a points system.

If you go below a limit, you lose health care privileges, even emergency.

Every time you wash a stick of celery and chew on it, you get points.

Every time you take down a triple cheeseburger from Wendy's with extra large fries, you lose points.

It would be like a video game, except the stakes would be fo' real.

:secret: pay in cash for the 3xcheesburger, etc ... then the govt can't trace the purchase

The people you seek to enslave or extort care.

I'm not enslaving or extorting anyone.

But you want to.

You either want to force service providers provide a service at no cost (slavery) or you want to force people to pay those service providers for services provided to individuals other than themselves (extortion).

Go back a few pages. We've already said this would require a microchip implant.

Says you.

Not once have you said you want people to pay in full for services they consume.

You say they have a 'right' to services. That means you want to extort taxpayers and/or enslave service providers.

I just dont think socialized medicare health care(with this reform bill the way it is that is the direction it will go) is the way to go about it

Which reform bill calls for socialized health care? What portion of which bill proposes to socialize medical services? Which provision of which bill makes doctors, hospitals and other medical service providers part of the government?

You ignored the part I put in bold, I said thats what direction it will go.

I think smoke said it perfectly -

none call for it. any that contain a public option will put it on the fast track towards socialized heathcare...private companies can NOT compete with government w/o being subsidized.
