Fiancee coming to US this week as Tourist... what to show at POE?

Timeline

I doubt a denial is in your immediate future, she sounds like she is prepared. Just answer honestly and be confident.

IF she is denied, there is nothing that can be done after the denial has been issued. She will be put on the next plane back to Sweden at her own cost. You doing anything after the denial could make things worse actually. But I doubt this will happen, I just wanted to answer your questions.

Greetings from the ATL! Have a wonderful visit together! Tell her to keep her boarding pass, photocopy the I-94, take lots of pictures for the interview.

With the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) just remember that the rules changed sometime last year and you now have to register online BEFORE leaving. here's the website:

I had no idea about this! How long does this application take!?

It only takes a few minutes. Its just an online thing so that in the system they know the person will be coming over for a visit. My fiance does it all the time before visiting the US from England. In fact he just did one the other day because he is leaving to come visit me TOMORROW!! WOO HOO!!! :)

Our Timeline-

7-15-07 Met in Cambridge, England while I (Meggie) was studying at Cambridge

-Love at first sight :) Visited each other COUNTLESS times between August 07- July 08

-Meggie moved back to UK on work program. Continued relationship July '08-January '09

-Kevin's visit to AZ for our birthdays 2009 (March 9- Kevin & March 10- Meggie)

3-10-09 Engaged!

3-28-09 Filed the I-129F Petition at California Service Center

3-31-09 NOA 1

4-2-09 Touched

4-3-09- NOA 1 Received in mail!

6-2-09 thru 6-7-09 Kevin and Meggie meet in Minnesota for a family wedding :)

8-28-09 thru 9-7-09 Kevin visits Me in Arizona

9-9-09 Congressman's office sends inquiry to CSC on our behalf.

9-10-09 Touch!!!!!!!!!!

9-11-09 Recieved email stating approval notice sent- approved 9/10/09!!

06-15-2009 - Engaged!

06-22-2009 - Sent K1 Packet

06-29-2009 - Received NOA1

09-21-2009 - Received NOA2

11-06-2009 - Linnea Interviews

11-06-2009 - Received Notice stating we needed a waiver for 212(e) Student Visa

01-05-2010 - Went to Sweden to be with Linnea while we waited and to help with waiver

03-22-2010 - Linnea gets waiver for 212(e)!

05-16-2010 - Linnea enters into the US at Newark

05-22-2010 - Legally Married

07-17-2010 - Wedding in Savannah, GA.... so much fun
