Our case will probably be at the USEM this coming week. What concerns me now is that, my Israel police clearance will take at least 6 weeks (I need to have a letter from the USEM before I can go to the Embassy of Israel to secure a police clearance), they said they will be the one to forward it to the USEM once it is here in Manila.

Should we set an interview date after 6 weeks or can we schedule it even without my police clearance from Israel? I don't want to wait that long.

Will be waiting for your replies. Thanks.

I think you're better off waiting for that clearance. Just play it safe. Think about it, what would happen if that clearance didn't arrive after 6 weeks and you already have the interview date set? God Bless!

You can always keep on calling the US EMBASSY with the $18 and the pin and keep on postponing the Interview...usually few days before the date.

So far we had to do it 2 times,,,,possible a 3rd....for us...if she passed the medical...we make it earlier, if slot available.

Thanks for the replies.

i agree, better to get that clearance before your interview because if you go ahead without it, even if your visa application is approved, it will not be delivered to you until you submit that doc, only causing you anxiety and stress

What a beautiful problem to have...it's definitely better to walk into the interview with all the documents in your hand.

We don't even have the NOA2 of our I-129F yet...wonder what is taking CSC so long. :(
