Nearing the end, 2 questions on fee's and form..

I have a question on the fee my wife in the Philippines just paid.

A history of fee's that we have paid so far is the $400 USD ($355+$45) to the NVC for the application. Then the medical exam was $213.35 USD. I thought the last fee was going to be the visa mail delivery fee for 300 PHP after the interview.

My wife told me she spoke to a woman at the medical exam who said to go to the BDO and pay the "visa immigrant application fee" for $131 USD. When she did that and got a receipt they also gave her a DS-156 form! This lead me to believe she just paid a fee for a non-immigrant visa and we have been doing an immigrant visa (I-130 and she has done the DS-230 I and she will do part II at the interview)

My questions are:

1. Was the fee she paid correct?

2. Does she need to fill out the DS-156?

I left another visa message board website and glad I am here. There are more people on this site and they are very friendly. Thanks.

Jeff

She don't need to fill out DS-156 and no need to pay in BDO thats for non-immigrant visa only.

I wish she listened to me and not people she meets at the Medical Exam. I guess now the question is how to get a refund? I will have her bring the receipt to the interview and ask there. :crying:
