:D I am Canadian IR-1 case. When should I show that sealed yellow envelop on the POE in Toronto airport? check in when I show the flight ticket?

Thank you.

or later, when the security check?or custom check?

You may need to show the visa in your passport when you check in at the airline--they have to make sure you have the right visa for traveling (may not apply with Canadians, fyi).

When you pass through US Immigration control before boarding, allow enough time there for your inspection; that is when they should take the envelope from you and endorse your visa.

Congratulations & Welcome to America!

thank you for the answer. By the way, where is the immigration control? After the check-in airline desk?Do I have to cross the immgration control desk? Or I will find it by myself? Thanks again.

:)

It is somewhere between airline checkin and getting on the plane. You won't get to the plane without passing US Immigration---they'll find you. ;)

you check in at the ticket counter like you normally would......

then you show the visa packet to the immigration control officer.... and they will tell you where you need to go.....

usually you have to go to a seperate room were they will look through your paperwork and take your fingerprints and stamp your papers etc.......
