Funny you ask about our phone bills. I JUST put together a spreadsheet yesterday to capture the $$ I've spent on Digicel/Ezetop top-ups, plus Rebtel/Ringyard credit purchases. It's harder to keep up with the Rebtel/Ringyard ones cause they only let you go back so far.

I've spent about $1,000, give or take a bit, since November 2008. I wasn't keeping track before that, cause we weren't thinking about filing yet.

NatPatBen your not the only one! I've spent more than that since then and he has two digicel phones and 1250 international minutes on each (2500 total) and we run that out in less than a month, we're thinking about getting a third digicel phone (3750 minutes)

we are on 3 chips and sometime that dont last us a month

flow is this "triple play" company - cable, internet, phone

they might not be in your fiance's area though, they're mainly in Kingston/St Andrew

We used Claro for a while. The downside is that you can't top up online. So if you run out of minutes, he'd have to go to a place to get more.

I've spent WAY too much on phone time, all types, but currently just topping off digicell so he calls me....sometimes i call him on Skype on the computer, cause i love using the headphones, can hear so much better..but not cheap.

Does claro give you a call history Bunz?

i dont think their phones have the history its our bill that show the incoming calls Thats why R always my cell because of the call detail ... on the house it only show calls outgoing because they are a additional charge

also if we are out of minutes one of his friends has a magic jack and he will see if he can use it cause there isnt a cost for him to call here .

And my cell company is unlimited minutes so they don't track the calls either...

I am sure flow is out of the question where he lives in the country...
