received I-797c but not I-797

Hi, I received my I-797c notice of action (transfer notice). Previously I received an automatic USCIS/CRIS email stating that my file had been transfered to the CSC and that I would shortly receieve (via mail) a I-797.

I am a bit confused...i receieved a I-797C not a I-797

I tried calling USCIS, but they were not able to assist me.

For all our documents from USCIS it was an I-797C. We never got a I-797 for our NOAs, transfer notice, or Welcome to America. You got the right form.
