Well, guys that were in that grouped email from Cairo same as we were.. Keep an eye out on DHL and track your package. He just received his Visa and will be leaving Tuesday!!!:dance:

I'm so happy guys and nervous too for some reason. I guess i'll worry until I see his smiling face in MY airport for the first time. I wish everyone waiting the best of luck and thank you to everyone that answered my questions along this part of our journey.

First of Congratulations!!! Secondly, my hubby got put in AP on Thursday. How do you track the DHL package?

Betsy, the tracking number is on the receipt he received when he payed for DHL in the Embassy the day of his interview. Go to dhl.com and select egypt and enter the tracking number. I saved that page in my favorites, so I only had to type the number once. :P

At his interview, they should've told him how long his AP might take.. if it was the young blond lady she seems to tell everyone 2 months. This was correct for us it took 2 months.

YAAAY  CONGRATS :D

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
