i heard about lots of good comments about Diane Pills. Birth control cya and at ang side effects eh puputi ka at kikinis mukha mo. Yung barkada ko dati nagkaroon ng hormonal imbalance tas niresetahan cya ng Diane Pills (Php500) she took it for 3 months pero during her 3 months eh lalo cya kuminis although makinis naman talaga cya tapos kapag naaarawan ay nagrorosy cheeks pa isa pa eh hindi nakakataba. you can try to ask your OB about it if you want

Btw, ibefore leaving the country eh magbaon ka na ng maraming pills kasi dito sa US eh hindi ka makakabili nyan unless with prescription. Sa Pinas mabibili mo Diane pills over the counter pati na rin yung iba pang pills. I read someone here na nakapagdala cya ng pills and never did encountered any prob i just don't know on how much pills you can bring

yup, hindi ka makakabili hanggat alang prescription, hindi kagaya sa pinas. kahit nga online ka bibili eh hahanapan ka pa rin ng prescription. yung diane pills na sinasabi ko eh nakalimutan kong i-indicate na nakakaincrease rin ng ####### size yun ginagamit nga yan ng mga kilala kong bakla sa Pinas eh lol! saka yung bestfriend ko na girl eh sinabi nya rin sa akin yan pero nung hininto nya daw eh bumalik sa dati yung size nya. hindi ko lang alam kung may diane pills dito pero sa pinas kilala yan saka may kamahal yan ng unti (sa pinas) compare sa ibang brand. I used ortho tri-cyclen lo for two years. I didn't gain weight, no mood swing, no headaches, no swelling of breast, no side effects that I felt at all. Mas lalong kuminis yong skin ko especially on my face yon lang.

You cannot buy birth control pills without doctor's prescriptions!

My hubby and I will try to use Mirena IUD after I'll give birth to our first child on December. My three sisters in PI used an IUD. My eldest sister ang youngest nila ay 21 years old na. Sa awa ni Lord wala naman silang bad side effect na naramdaman using the IUD. When you use IUD you must have a regular check up unlike sa pills na refills ka lang.

is the ortho-tricyclen available in US? well, after kasi we get married, as soon as i get the AP im going to lie with my fiance in Okinawa; I think they haVE that in their base; anyways thanks s ngpost about s patch..hay thank God i found out about it. Scary naman baka after a month lang id get preggers nah.. eeepp paano nalang hehe..although my fiance doesnt have any problems having kids at anytime, I just think it would be better nah we'd start having kids when we go back to the states nah, which will be around 2012. After we get settled na dun kasi hirap naman mg adjust ng baby if palipat lipat kami. 

Anyway, im glad someone made thsi thread. It's helpful.. 

I think I'd prefer the pill nalang. Yasmine or ortho right? Im not so sure about the Dianne pills as one of the OBs I know told my classmate back then that it highly carcinogenic; She advised my classmate to switch. Although I'm a nurse, mas gusto p pa rin malaman ung side effects na na experience ng iba kaysa sa textbook lists eh.

i read teh reviews.. these stuff scare me nah tuloy.. ung yaz u might become an emotional wreck! i do not want that hehe moody kasi ako, and from what ive read it's better to try yaz if you have PMDD; and i dont know if i have that, although when i am 2 weeks from my period i notice my mood swings, and it's not the best hehe.. i may have to discuss that with my OB.. my sister had used natural family planning with rubber but she got pregnant after 3 yrs nah; she tried pills, grabe ung ate koh, super scary mood swings talaga! same with my mom back then..so i guess that kind of scared me with the pill..ive never tried any BC and im scared of trying it... I want something that will decrease my menstrual cramps as i get severe dysmenorrhea before or during the onset of bleeding; and even if i take pain reliever meds, the pain is unbearable. I also do get premenstrualk headaches rarely breakouts so I do want to find a BC that will help decrease those symptoms

I pay $6 per pack for my pill @ Walgreens. Without insurance, it would cost more than $70 per pack. Thank goodness we have insurance or else we'll be struggling. I use Azurette by Watson pills.

Just planning ahead...

My fiance and I want to have a baby soon. Kaya lang nagwo-worry ako, baka pag preggy ako, mas mahirap makakuha ng job sa US. Iniiisip ko tuloy kung dapat ko ba syang i-convince na mag-birth control muna kami until di pa ako nakakakuha ng job. If ever, injection ang naiisip kong gamitin since sobrang tamad kong uminom ng gamot, lalo na siguro kung pills. Ayaw ko rin naman ng rubber kc alam kong hindi nya rin gusto yun. May nakapag-try na ba dito ng injection? Anong pros and cons? Thanks...

my dermatologist...yes, derma not OB GYNE prescribed dianne for my pimples. After 3 months of taking the pill, my face became clear and pimple free =) Medyo maganda nga effect ng dianne sa skin =)

I believe Yaz and Yasmin are both from Bayer. I am using Yasmin for almost two years now and I must say that I like it soooooo much. When I started using it, the first few months were pretty tough on me because of all the side effects like dizziness, nausea, headaches, can hardly breath and chest pains. I was really scared and almost quit using it but the doctor said it will get better as soon as my body got used to it. She was right... I also gained weight during the adjustment period and shed it off afterwards. The pill helps me regulate my period, prevents getting acne and maintaining my weight too that's why I'm sticking with it (like I said I have been using it for almost 2 yrs now). Every effect to every woman is different so I don't know how it will work for you. I heard Yaz is as good as Yasmin. I almost thought about switching but I chickened out thinking about the side effects when I start over again. And oh, the mens is very short and light with my pill... just 2-3 days and you're done. I also like it that I know when to expect it. I can always make plans if ever there's something special going on with my husband and I. My pill's very expensive if you don't have insurance. I'm getting my supply from mail order pharmacy and pay $9 for 3 packets. It will save you a lot if you will ask your doctor to make the prescription be dispensed on a 3-month supply basis.

I haven't been pregnant and I have been taking it. The thing is, if you're not ready to have kids, then pills would help. But you better make sure that you won't miss a dose. Otherwise, you'll highly get pregnant. I know somebody who used pills to help her get pregnant. They've been trying for 5 years but to no avail due to her irregular mens, so finally, the OB told her to regulate her period first. After taking it for at least 5 months and got herself regulated, she started skipping taking pills every now and then. She missed pills on purpose and sure enough, she finally got pregnant. I don't know if this will work to everyone but it did for her.

i was thingking of using pills noon pah since we are not ready of having kids.. kya lang, i have a friend who told me that i cant use any kind of pills since i havent been pregnant daw,. kc bka raw magkakaron daw ng bad implications ( i dont know kung saken or sa baby in the future)..i dont know if its true, but still natakot akong magtry gumamit ng pills ..
