G-325A Address won't fit. Type or hand write?

My fiance's previous addresses in Brazil and Japan are long and some will not fit in the "Street and Number" field when I am typing in the pdf. Is it better to...

1) Print a blank form and hand write everything?

2) Type everything I can, print, and then hand write where an address wouldn't fit?

3) Use abbreviations (for example, "Av." instead of "Avenida")?

Thanks,

Drew

i take it that you didnt really read the instruction that well huh:) if you need more space then you will need to type or handwriting it in an additional paper, dont forget to put the number of the questions, your name and the form (example: 1-485, etc)

maybe you want to take a look at the instruction again, good luck:)

The wait would be unbearable but it'll be worth it. It strengthens the love, it attaches you even more to each other, it shows how your man would do whatever it takes to be with you, that he will never give up on you because he LOVES you!! All the waits, stresses, tears, heartaches, all the miserable feelings you feel along the way will be paid off once you get what you've been hoping for...oh and WITHOUT PRAYERS? will be like trying to start a fire with water, JUST WON'T WORK!

You dont need to handwrite anything... Use the typewriter from Adobe Reader.

Open your g-325a.pdf file

click on Tools

drag the mouse to Typewriter

click on Show Typewriter Toolbar

that tool allows you to write over any part of the form

and you can change the size of the text , spaces and font.

Good luck!

Thanks! However I just tried it and it looks like the typewriter toolbar buttons in the G-325a are grayed out. Can anyone else confirm this?

Yup - best to either abbreviate and/or hand write. (Also, there is a known problem with the date fields - until this is resolved, folks will need to hand write these as well.)

  • 1 year later...

cannot figure out something, do i need to type in adobe and take print outs or should i print the black forms and hand-write in them??

Even though this thread is a couple of years old, the answer is still the same.

You can (most folks do) type your information using Adobe (or similar) - you may (most folks don't) hand write all or some of the information.

As described above - some things may not fit when typing the information in - if this occurs, you may complete/type as much of the form as you can, then print it out and complete the remainder (portions that wouldn't fit) by hand.

If you're weird and can't think of anything else, you can do like I did:

1. Type out the address in notepad in a small font and print it out.

2. Cut out the part of the paper with the address and tape it on the blank form.

3. Photocopy the blank form so I don't send them a kidnapper's ransom letter

4. Sign.

5. Profit!
