Hello All,

I was trying to throw away papers that I dont need anymore today but accidentally I ripped my NOA1 for AOS/EAD and AP, I'm so scared now that this will ruin everything. I haven't told my husband yet coz I wanna know if it is still possible to use them with scotch tape on it?

Anybody have an idea?

Yes, scotch tape it. It should be fine.

It's fine. It's only a receipt saying they got your application. You don't need it, except to read your case numbers off of.

Don't rip your appointment letter for biometrics when it comes. You take that letter to your appointment.

Tape them and then put each one in a laminating pouch to protect the pieces from separating. Good thing you didn't throw them away. More than likely they won't be needed but it pays to keep a complete set of whatever official documents exist regarding your immigration. The general rule of thumb is to keep these things, and also tax returns, for seven years.
