Police Clearance - not sure if I got what is needed.??

Hello,

So I went and go my police clearance and when I arrived there I asked if it would say that CPIC was checked, and they said yes. Now I went to pick up my clearance and it states name, dob, sex, and then says "this is to certify that a search of the criminal records of the windsor police service, and the national repository for criminal records in canada (search has not been confirmed by fingerprints), based on the above name and date of birth discloses the following:

No criminal record identified

Not enhanced screening.

Records check requested for: immigration.

then it has the seal, etc.

Is this ok? or should I be getting something from the RCMP as well?

Yes it has to say CPIC or National Registry, mine said National Registry and it was accepted no problem.

Unless you have a criminal record, which it sounds like your from your record you do not, then you would be okay. If you do have a record then you would need an RCMP check with fingerprints.
