My wife and I are moving from St. Louis to Boston and I know

we need to fill out a change of address, but I'm not sure what

we need to file and where we need to file it. Can anyone help?

Don't forget to call customer service in addition to filing the AR-11 to change your address for the current applications.

Filing AR-11 does not change your address for applications already in progress.

the immigrant half of the couple needs to send in AR-11 to U.S Department of Homeland Security

Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration

and then call USCIS a couple weeks later to confirm the address change.

The sponsor spouse also needs to change address with form I-865, and send that to the New district office. When we moved we also sent a photocopy to the current district office, along with a copy of the AR-11. And then follow up a couple weeks later to confirm that they've changed the address.

Thanks all. On the AR-11 it asks to specify the reason the immigrant is in the US. Should my wife put 'Permanent Resident' (she's not yet, her green card is pending) or 'Other.' If 'other' how what should we put in the blank space next to it?
