Hi, y'all! M new here so hope, y'all give me consideration.

I already submitted my DS-230 forms and the needed documents nvc required.

And my husband also paid the AOS fee $70, but he didn't submit the AOS forms and the documents required by NVC.

Now, my questions are: Is it nessesary to submit the forms and the needed docs to NVC? or Should i juz bring them to my interview? I'm really confused about it, coz of what i read at the us embassy manila interview guide, that i need to prepare the AOS forms and the required documents.

Please helpme understand.. i appreciate all advice. thank you.

You have to submit everything to NVC (at least that was so in my case). NVC collects all these documents and forwards them to the embassy once the interview is scheduled.

It is not necessarly true that you have to submitt all the documents to NVC, unless your country is considedered an Appointment Post, where the NVC will collect the fees, affidavit of support, civil documents, and police certificates, as required: I'm not sure under what category Manila falls under, but for further information, please see the link below.

I called the nvc today, and told me that they reciv my ds-230 august 10, and to wait for 6-8 weeks for the feedback. and told me that they're also waiting for AOS forms to be sent. My husband is in Iraq right now and he don't have his W2 with him. That's why he can't sent back the AOS forms. But i guess, m gonna wait for the nvc to send me feedback of my ds-230. Wish me luck y'all! thank yu again. God bless!

Although they say 6-8 weeks we found it happens much quicker now so try to the the AOS forms ready sooner.

If your husband already filed his tax returns, you could get the IRS transcripts by the IRS automated phone service.

It should get to you in less than a week.

IRS will fax you the transcript instantly if you like. (no need for W-2 in this case, transcript is everything you need) You need to have access to a Fax AND a phone at the same time since they remain on the line to make sure you received the Fax.

I recieved a feedback from NVC, it's a checklist letter. I need to resend my ds-230 part 1. Just a little mistake on the date of my residences. Then i have to do it again. Anyway, i have another questions that i am confused about, i used to worked in middle east before 2004-2007,, so do i need to obtain a police certificate from that country that i've been lived/worked for almost 3 years? I already sent my NBI clearance. And, one thing more the NVC is really asking for the AOS forms so i think the processing of my case will get really delayed bcoz of that, my husband will still need to get his TR transcript.. so hopefully he

ll have it soon. God bless us all!
