We got the standard 10 weeks wait answer for original marriage certificate and it's been about 16 or more I think since our wedding. :( We have long since got our two certified copies we ordered when we sent off the licence to registar us and I was wondering if there is a delay? I don't fancy another trip up to the Norwalk office again :(

Ours was posted in 6 weeks to the day, but we went down to the East LA office and picked it up. It will depend on when your officiant sent it in, but usually they will tell you to not even show up before 6 weeks.

Before we chose our office,we did research to find out the fastest one and drove an hour from LA and went to Orange county/Laguna Hills(we do live in LA)....It was very nice area and office and they are definitely faster than other offices in LA county...we got ours in two weeks...
