Its so stupid - there are continuing anti-war protests. They didn't just stop suddenly because Obama was elected.

Got any links to the headlines of any major anti-war protests? If they are plentiful, should be able to provide a ton of links, each to a separate protest.

He hasnt got links. They just change the subject and distract from promises made. Mission accomplished!

You (and most people here) know very little (very very little) about me and I keep it that way, purposefully. Feel free to make all the assumptions you like - if it makes you feel better - it doesn't bother me one whit.

But really, its even simpler than you're making out: You had a ####### point to begin with and proved with it (and with your subsequent bizarre defence of it) that you aren't interested in a two-way discussion. Moderates are people who are too weak to take a stand on anything, or are too afraid to tell people what they really think.

Also once again, the RIGHT WINGERS in this thread have allowed the LEFTISTS to dictate the direction of the argument to Bush, and polls. This is completely ignorant. It also proves that they are completely wrong on the actual issue at hand, because they divert the argument to Bush and polls no matter what you're talking about. You could be debating healthcare, wars, or even the mating habits of Alaskan Moose, and they'd still bring up Bush and polls.

I won't be admitting I was wrong, because I wasn't wrong. The issue was not that the 70% was wrong, it was that no one demands references for "stats" that they agree with. Only those they don't agree with. I also never once said your numbers were wrong, I said your source is faulty. Here are Bush's approval ratings according to Fox News, which IMO leans right. Even given what I would call padded numbers they still aren't much different than what I guessed (30% approval overall). Again the 30% guess reflects the approval rating at the end of Bush's term & is a snapshot in time:

As for my claim that approximately 20% of Americans are liberals a recent Gallup Poll has the number at 21%:
