That's why I put it on here Len for all those who can read. I know who you are and if you're my friend then we don't need words and can request me back. If you're not my friend then don't request me because facebook is for friend requests.

Whatever makes you sleep at night Olivia -- I am just figuring out ####### is going on; and you might not like to hear this, but manners are manners. You do not go on a childlike tantrum, delete people who have done nothing to you and then ask them to request you again. Like you said, friends don't need words. You delete, you request. Otherwise, it is pure arrogance.

You don't have to remand me Len over facebook etiquette. How about I do a cute little teapot dance for you and everyone too while I sing "will you be my friend". In addition to deleting everyone I also changed my phone number and cancelled my old email address and started a new one. I blocked everyone I meet online out except my Husband because we're married. Only one person on VJ stayed because I knew her from college and she lives in my same town and that would awkward. I rarely see any of you in person and the headaches and issues from some of you I have found I don't need and is exactly why I left the forum. Taking care of oneself is loving and respecting oneself.

Plus Len it's hard to request someone when they've got you on block or ignore or they went invisible or set their privacy settings certain ways.. If you know me and you know yourself then you know where each other stands. I'm not going to take it personal if you request me now or later or don't request me at all nor am I going to be spending hours looking up people on facebook to request again or be mean to any of you otherwise for any of this. As I already said I don't plan on spending much time on VJ anyways but I don't expect anybody to do this journey alone either. That's too difficult. I figure I'll spend some time in AOS and other forums on VJ to ask some questions I need answers to that affect our visa process and then mostly spend my time on my life offline when my Husband gets here. There is a life out there waiting for us all - offline.

Then why come on VJ and announce that you've deleted them, and request that they friend request you back?

Courtesy, IMO, dictates that if you've deleted those people you would be interested in being friends with again....you should friend request them, not the other way around. Taking FB out of the picture for one second, think of RL. If you have an address book that you lose(for example)....do you make all your friends call you to give you their address again, or do you get in touch with your friends to ask them for their address again? I would do the latter, because I'm the one that lost the address book....its not my friends' fault.

Can I put in my two cents on this? Olivia, you and I have never had a problem before, so this is coming totally from an outside POV. Deleting all people from your friend list because of an issue you had here with a few is just plain silly. Why would you shut out everyone because of a few? I suspect that this actually stems more from the stress between you and your husband than it does between you and Len, or any of us really.

This visa process sucks, and you have had more than your fair share of heartache and headaches. Rather than shut everyone out just to return later and announce that you are ready to be friends, why not just take a break from Visa Journey, block the people that are not your friends, concentrate on getting your husband here, and return on occasion to say "hi". I don't think that you realize that by deleting people that are your friends you are in essence showing them that you don't give a rat's a$$ about them. And that really wasn't fair to those that care about you.

you sure made that bar quite high to jump. you blocked everyone, so kinda dumb to do a request then as you'll never see the request and if you changed your email, that's a fail for anyone trying to add you with that email. are we supposed to know this new email by osmosis?

so what exactly are we trying to accomplish here again?

I never had ~Flower~ on FB but reading through the post I was wondering the same thing too! How are people suppose to find her if she deleted her email. Maybe I’m missing something.

If someone deletes me from FB, that is their choice to do so, but that tells me that they aren't interested in being MY friend. So, unless it's a close personal friend whose relationship I don't want to lose, not going to waste my time. I would suspect that alot of people feel that way.

Honestly, if I had deleted everyone on FB because I was angry or having a tough time, I would simply say that FB deleted all my peeps....find me if you want to still be my friend...HA HA LOL! But to come on here and say "Well, I couldn't stand some of ya so I just wiped out everyone", can't say that puts warm fuzzies on my heart.

Just sayin'.....

I deleted everyone on my facebook except my family and a few close friends in Idaho so don't take it personal if you were deleted once. It's hard to do this journey alone. My family and close friends just don't understand it. I learned that spending time away from VJ was better for my marriage and I'm content spending more time on FB. So if you are my friend you're welcome to request me back and see me over there. I'm usually playing farmtown, farmville, or adding pictures and videos of what I'm cooking or seeing or doing.

What if they were deleted twice? Should they be offended then?

Seriously, go back to high school with the nonsense.

Just so you all know what she's demanding is ridiculous and a pretty stupid reason to be mad as somebody over.

 Who is demanding what? Olivia, seriously, you are giving yourself way too much importance. First you publicly announce you are leaving VJ (page 1 of the child like behavior handbook) because people are mean, you need time off, bla bla. Second, you erase people who had done nothing to you from FB. Third you come back to this hideous awful place known as VJ and actually post what you did, asking those who you deleted to request your grace once more, #######.
