I didn't file taxes for 2008. I am a volunteer missionary and didn't recieve any wages in 2008 only supplied room and board.

I filed in 2006 & 2007 and have transcripts. I have a joint sponsor already so I'm not worried about meeting the requirements.

But I am a bit confused on what how to fill out the I864. Suggestions on how to answer Questions #25?

Also, will I need a letter from the organization that I worked for last year to say I worked for them without pay?

The answer is in the I-864 instructions, page 8:

If you were not required to file a Federal income tax return under U.S. tax law because your income was too low, attach a written explanation.

If your room and board is tax exempt, then the answer to question 25 - most recent tax year - is zero.
