yyessss. I need to eat it.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

I am gonna go on saturdayz. :D

The executive chef here is awesome and is always giving me tips on food in the area, hence why I usually know what places are great to eat at :P

The subject of his email:

"I hope that this helps to further relations between your people and mine"

Thanks for sharing.

I am from the Philly area and I had gravy fries at a place called "Nick's Roastbeef"

The Canadian version, which is probably the original, look very good.

I will have to try out the restaurant if their prices are reasonable. Most places in the city are not.

Oh God if too many Americans find out about poutine they're gonna start mixing Krispy Kremes in there and the soon "socialist" healthcare costs are going to sky-rocket haha.

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

Ooooo thanks for the heads-up! Every time I tell an American about poutine they give me this look like it's the most disgusting thing they have ever heard :( I'll never understand it. Poutine is great! :D

Oh well, now I know where to go! Thanks again!

Oh wow, I bet you're excited! I plan on bringing down $100 worth of poutine gravy packs when I move. I need a certain brand...but cheese curds might be a challenge. When I was in a resturant in Vegas, I asked them to make me poutine and they looked at me funny too

GO CANADIEN POUTINE.

Invade the USA.

YAY :D

There's also a Boston Pizza in Allentown (I know a bit of a hike, but make a mini trip out of it!)

My future MIL tried poutine from an authentic french canadian chip stand when she was a up a couple of weeks ago. She LOVED it :)
