Hi there!

I found this great looking place via an google search and I have been using it for guidelines and information.

My fiancee and I are just about to collate the required information for the K-1 Visa. We are very nervous, but cannot wait till it is all completed. (Successfully!)

My fiancee lives in California, USA and I live in Southampton, England. We met in 2002 Online, via Yahoo Pool. We have been chatting since then and we only met in January of this year. I flew out to CA to be with her last week and she is coming to London next Saturday to be with me.

It has been pretty evident that we were not only friends, there was much more to our relationship. This was discovered 12 months before finally meeting. We're both extremely happy and we are crazy about one another.

I'm pretty glad I have found such a community that I can turn to for advice and pointers! I'm after your support, as I'd be grateful for it right now!

We will submit at the end of this month when she returns back to the USA with all the completed information.

I'd like to introduce myself, and thank everybody for the support in advance.

I will keep you posted and I hope I can turn to you for advice in times of need.

Best Regards,

Justin :)

Hi Justin nice to meet you and your fiance, I am also new to this group although my boyfriend who is in columbus Ohio and I (im in Leicester UK) have researched the different visas for some time now. My boyfriend and I also met on yahoo chat approx. 4 years ago. I have been over there to the states about 3 times now (Is cheaper for me to go to him than him come to me, you kow the whole american holidays ting - they only get 1 week vacation time:( ). I was there December 2005 till 4th feb 2006 and now I am back here in miserable england :( We completed our forms and its all ready to be mailed to nebraska centre but he has to wait for his next paycheck so hopefully it will be mailed out around 20th feb 2006. Wow I cant believe it we are finally doing it LOL. I like this group too there seems to be alot of information in here I particulary liked the timelines - I always like to know how long it took others to go through the process.
