so i just came from from vietnam and did all these paperwork and procedures. finally, they gave me a piece of paper called "giay chung nhan ket hon" which basically means a marriage license. now, what do i do with it now that i am back in the states?

5/18/2008 - Went to Vietnam for first time with brother

5/25/2008 - Cousin intro Tu, asked for number, began relationship, many phone calls, letters, emails

6/20/2009 - Went to Vietnam for sec time with dad

7/27/2009 - Dam Hoi, received marriage certificate, went to many places for vacation

6/4/2010 - Vietnam for third time with mother

6/19/2010 - Got married, went to many places for vacation

7/3/2010 - Mail out I-130

File for a K3 or CR1? Not sure exactly what you are trying to do.

Timeline

AOS

Mailed AOS, EAD and AP Sept 11 '07

Recieved NOA1's for all Sept 23 or 24 '07

Bio appt. Oct. 24 '07

EAD/AP approved Nov 26 '07

Got the AP Dec. 3 '07

AOS interview Feb 7th (5 days after the 1 year anniversary of our K1 NOA1!

Stuck in FBI name checks...

Got the GC July '08

This is your marriage certificate. You will need a certified translation. I assume that you are filing for CR1. Go to the Asia: East & Pacific regional forum to get input for HCMC. It's one of the tougher consulates. Come on over, we will get you the right info.
