well found Reda a job it's just a part time gig but it's a start.... noone ever warns you how hard it is to find a job for an immergrant I am amazed at some of these employers gull. As a hiring manager myself it just reminds me what i need to be understanding of.

What's most important for Reda is he found soccer teams to play with Alhamdolilah .. *wipping brow* phew! so he is gaining friendships and connections to other employment opportunities that way.

Being married to a MENA man has it's up sides and some exhausting sides but all in all it's the love you get from them that makes it all worth while.

LOL...I think we are all about at the same place with the settling in. I completely know what u mean with the ups and downs. talk about a growing experience hhhhhhhh. You definately have to be really in love and very forgiving and tollerent at times! And it helps if the husband or immigrant is easy going with a real mild temperment too. I know after 7 mos I think my husband and I are leveling out whew..I just came back here too.......I swear its like when u first have a baby! It takes like 6 mos till you can deal with whats been going on outside of the "baby" ya picking up what i'm put'in down lol

Olive, you know you're right... no bad mouthing here I love my husband but lets just say I've learned i have much more patience than I EVER thought i would lol everyone in the neighborhood adores my husband the kids flock to him and they all play soccer.. the women tell me what a "great guy" he is then i walk inside and find every dish has been dirtied clothes tossed around and water all around the floor in the bathroom.... that is after a 10 hour work day then I have to start dinner after or during I clean and he watches soccer.... those are the days we have our "bad moments" they're getting better alhamdolilah when I found out I just have to ask him he'll do it. lol what a concept.

big YES..... I fell asleep reading in bed last night and i came out this morning and found he made dinner and left me a plate.. awww mashallah see how they can be.. mind you all the dishes are still in the sink and there isn't a clean spoon anywhere But Ya Allah i love that man lol

Some wanted me to reintroduce myself... um not sure what to say but I am Rajaa from Seattle WA. met my husband something like another life time ago.. we talked on the internet for a year or so and I converted and then we decided to get engaged... went to morocco for the engagement party lived there for a short stint came home to prepare myself and kids for a marriage went back got married lived there for longer.. came home and started the paperwork. 8 months later he arrived and now almost 7 months later we're finally settling into a rountine. I work full time he just got a part time position, still looking for work and life is full of trials and sweet moments......nothing really more to say cause if I gave you details this would be a looooong post lol
