Hi all,

I have had to move job since filing our K1 petition (I am the benificary). Are there any steps I need to take and will this affect anything?

Thanks,

Sean

Hello there!

Two months ago, my fiance and I also talked about the same topic so I asked the lawyer whom my American fiance has hired for the K1 process. The lawyer said that change of employment or deliberate cessation of it won't affect the application. In fact, I submitted my resignation letter on July 21 and it'll be effective on August 31 per company policy because my fiance doesn't want me to work anymore while waiting for our approval. :star:

You do not need to do anything. Your job situation has nothing to do with the process and your G-325a was correct when filed, that is all that matters.
