You aren't smart enough to do battle with me. Really, you're not.

Funny because I have an engineering degree and a masters from an ivy league college. Only the top 12% of students in the country got into my engineering course. In the US, I make a six figure salary, which starts with a number two in front of it. Own quite a few investment properties too. Looking at buying an investment property in Manhattan too. Yourself?

Judging by your total anonymity and constant use of rofl symbols, hence the confusion of being Eric, I am sure you are quite smart too.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

No time line, no information, no visa info, zilch really. Therefore, you have to be a loser who is just hanging out for the sake of it. AKA no life or friends.

Ok, you know the drill . . . personal insults and personal attacks are a violation of TOS and the worst offenders have been removed. Continue in this vein and this thread will be closed.

Oh, and Eric is gone again too.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

No, I'm intelligent. Perhaps I had a high profile case? Remember what happens when you assume?

Not assuming at all. Apart from Boston, everything else is blank.

Never heard of it.

Then you don't know much about Boston, do you? Maybe I'm not even from MA, I could have listed Boston to make myself even more anonymous? You never know.

Come to Southie.

Dude, pleeeeease. Convicts vs pilgrims. Go hire "Chopper" and then come tell me which Irish are the tough guys.

Funniest thing I have read all year. The 'tough' part of Boston.

Not scared at all. As I have said, I'm not stupid.

So, because you hide your ID your not stupid. They're going to get you man.

Since you never heard of it, tell me all about it. You ARE an expert on so many matters which you know nothing about. You said nobody from Boston is tough and you could punch them out. I beg to differ. Give Chinatown a shot with your tough guy attitude while you're there.

Watch the value of the dollar for the next two years and then get back to me. If the spending doesnt stop NOW, were all gonna be in soup lines.

I get what you are saying but not acknowledging the trillions already wasted in health care is wrong. You realize even when it comes to the military, private contractors and companies are ripping off the government. I know for a fact as I spoke with a auditor that told me about an example of a company charging $30K for a valve. For a freagin value. A valve that costs them $50 before they were forced to switch to private suppliers. Don't you think the same thing is happening in health care? Why any treatment costs 100 times here than the same treatment in Canada or Australia.

Australia has NHS and their dollar is nearly the same as the US. Unemployment is at 5.8%. Average salary is still going strong at $50k. House prices are still strong.

This is America and the internet

wow, no sh-t hey.

 Someone told you a valve cost 30K, now you're an expert. You are a hoot.

I don't really agree with much that haza says but I agree with him here. I am not an expert but personally I know that my daughter's medications are cheaper in most countries than they are here. One of her medications is $85 and costs between $5-10 in Canada or the UK. Her inhaler is $300 a piece and can be bought at UK pharmacies for 40 pounds (about $65 US). Definitely wasted healthcare dollars. Also, on a recent routine visit to her Pediatric Pulminologist, I was charged $426 just to walk into the Childrens Hospital where the clinic is (on top of $174 for the doctor and $89 for the breathing test). This was not an Urgentcare or er clinic, just a regular outpatient clinic. Yes that is right $689 for a total of 15 minutes. Don't tell me that is not wasteful. When I called about the $426 portion I was told that was just for walking into the building. See they have to subsidize those that use the hospital without insurance. The worst part is when I checked with my insurance to see if there were any other doctors in a 100 mile radius the answer was no. Also the Pulminologists that I called all said they don't treat kids and she would have to use the Childrens Hospital.

By the way I do have insurance but with the deductible and co-insurance, I have to pay the $689. The insurance system is broken in this country and needs reform now.
