So they lady, lost her job, is unemployed and is going through a divorce. Fine, so how is she going to get covered? I would like that magic dust too.

The irony is that the proposed reform is actually ideal for her as she will not have to worry about health care while she looks for a job. Either would her kids, if she had any.

While rude, funny to see the politician talking into the speaker of her phone.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

It's actually sad that the people who will benefit the most are crying murder against it.

Dude I have been waiting four years for the point. Run by the government = bad is not good enough.

The reality is that she would have a hard time being covered because of the pre-existing condition. If she denies that she is lying or stupid. How do I know that? my wife's mother is a cancer survivor and has a hard time and she even works for the state.

If the government is broke there will be no beneficiaries, sheesh.

Not broke when it comes to the $750 billion spent on the military each year.

Which does not include any of the money spent on the two wars; which you know is in the trillion.

Sick people cannot generate money bro. Either can people drowning in debt because of being sick. Guess who pays for dodgy coverage and dodgy policies? the hospitals, doctors and the rest of us. So when an insurance company denies someone, I am screwed with higher premiums.

Does bankrupting people help the economy? Do insurance denials help the hospital or doctor? No. It takes from them. What it does is adds to the freagin insurance companies bottom line; as does the high cost of medicine for pharmaceutical companies. Since being here and watching their commercials, I now I feel I have 50 diseases.

To this day, I am still waiting on answers on why I can buy the same type of medication and have it shipped from Australia for less than buying it here. In addition, it's not generic and comes in a factory sealed foil blister packs rather than the yellow vials.

Watch the value of the dollar for the next two years and then get back to me. If the spending doesnt stop NOW, were all gonna be in soup lines.

Funny considering I am the one with the engineering degree and masters. What's your salary again? oh wait, you conveniently don't want to tell me. None of my business right.

next..

 This is America and the internet, you can be anything you want. I am really impressed by people who bragg about about their wealth and education to a total group of strangers. Are you this pathetic in reality too, or just here?

I get what you are saying but not acknowledging the trillions already wasted in health care is wrong. You realize even when it comes to the military, private contractors and companies are ripping off the government. I know for a fact as I spoke with a auditor that told me about an example of a company charging $30K for a valve. For a freagin value. A valve that costs them $50 before they were forced to switch to private suppliers. Don't you think the same thing is happening in health care? Why any treatment costs 100 times here than the same treatment in Canada or Australia.

Australia has NHS and their dollar is nearly the same as the US. Unemployment is at 5.8%. Average salary is still going strong at $50k. House prices are still strong.

This is America and the internet

wow, no sh-t hey.
