So my husband's biometrics appt is at 9 AM tomorrow and he just pointed out to me that he has a wart on his thumb. Is there any precedent for this sort of thing? Does he need to say anything to the people doing the prints? I really don't want to get a delay because of a stupid wart! Thanks!

Is it a very distinctive wart? LOL

They will take FINGER prints. My wife never had her thumb print taken, I think you are fine.

They take prints off all your fingers and thumbs (did of me anyway, last week). It is called a tenprint after all. I assume the offending growth is actually on the pad of his thumb? With a bit of luck they will assume he just has a deformed thumb!

Good Luck!

Yes it's on the pad of his thumb, but not in the center. I do think it will obstruct the print though. Well, we're off this morning, fingers crossed! (haha, punny!)

Just an FYI for future VJ searchers, the woman that did his biometrics said not to worry about it, it would just look like a bump. Ah well, at least we didn't get turned away....
