At the end it will all be just fine. may be some procedural work CO has to do. But keeping the passport and "you are approved" is a great releif. Soon you will hear the good news. My prayers are with you as well......

Approval: approval email "Approval Notice Sent on July 6." Hard copy recieved on July 11

DS-3032 - Emailed today7/22/09, got auto response

Recieved AOS fee bill and original DS-3032 in mail and AOS Paid- 7/24/09

AOS Bill Shows as PAID -7/25/09

printed coversheets for AOS- 7/25/09

I-864 Package Generated - no need/online payment

Mailed I-864 Package and DS-3032- Expressed mailed USPS 7/27/09

I-864 Package Received at NVC - 7/28/09, at 11:22 AM

DS-3032 accepted and IV bill generated - 7/29/09

Paid IV Bill -7/29/09, at 8:40 AM EDT

Just want to ask everyone to keep us in their prayers as my hubby makes his way to the US Embassy in Cairo for our interview!! It'about 3 hours from now and we miss each other so much and just want to start our lives together!!! We will let you know the outcome!!!

Betsy congrats! From the numbers I've looked at on VJ for AP in Cairo it's an average of 5-6 months but since the FBI name check was eliminated things have really been speeding up. As someone already said the turn around time seems to be much faster now with the more current cases. Once case there was no AP at all. Another case 10 days and several cases in under a month. I don't know if they are having less applications or they are more efficient or what?

Well guys I only got to talk to hubby for a short time after the interview and he is in transit now back to his home town. Long story short is he went through a pretty long and detailed interview. At the end, she told him we we approved but being put in AP. I should have expected that from Cairo but in my heart I really didn't. I guess the only bright side to it is she kept his passport and told him AP is between 2 weeks and 2 months. The part that scrares me is that it can be indefinite. I think I have cried enough to flood the Ohio river this morning. I don't know what to do now. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers and well wishes.

What is an AP, by the way?

March 12,2009-- Married at Quezon City Hall of Justice
USCIS/NVC STAGE
May 8,2009-- I-130 Sent
August 17,2009-- I-130 Approved
August 26, 2009--case received at NVC
November 5,2009--CASE COMPLETED
USEM MANILA STAGE/ U.S. SOIL
November 17-18,2009--Medical PASSED
December 10, 2009--Interview @ 8:30AM A-P-P-R-O-V-E-D
January 25, 2010--FLIGHT(Manila-Japan-Detroit,MI-Buffalo,NY)
February 22,2010-- 2-yr GREEN CARD received
February 26, 2010--SSN received
REMOVING of CONDITIONS
December 22, 2011-- I-751 mailed
February 28, 2012-- Biometrics done
