1. Typically, how much notice is given for the interview date in Montreal?

2. What forms does the embassy send to the beneficiary?

3. Does Montreal require that medicals are done the same day as the interview, or is it to be done ahead of time with results sent to the embassy directly from the doctor?

you cant send the medical to the embassy you have to bring it with you, get it done before your interview date or your visa will take longer to get cus you have to bring the results back at another time.

interview date notice varys - the letter i got from MTL in the mail said 4-6months for interview. some people wait 2-3 months some people wait less.

they send you

DS 230 part 1

DS 156

- you have to fill out online DS 160 and DS 156k

make two copys of everything, they take both copys from you at the interview.

one of them is online form with a generated barcode and at the interview they staple pictures to them

the other is part of a form you fill out and then sign later at the interview if you pass. you can see the example forms in the download parts to help understand them better.

Sorry I wasn't clear there with my question. I filled out the DS-160 online and printed out the application and confirmation pages to bring to the interview.

I filled out the DS-156 by printing out the form and filling it in by hand.

I also filled out the DS-156k by printing out the form and filling it in by hand for the interview.

So my question really is: Is the DS-160 the ONLY form you need to fill out electronically online and submit that way?
