I just spoke to a USEM rep and he told me that our case was in the system at Manila. He then told me that we are unable to set an interview date at this time because our case has not been "qualified"?

I asked him how our case becomes qualified and he said he doesn't know but it's standard procedure. He told me to call back in 2 weeks to check on it!!!

What the hell is this?

I just called back and spoke to another rep at USEM. He told me the same thing. He said that due to the high volume of cases coming in recently that it will be slower than normal and to call back in 2 weeks!!

I am seriously sick of this whole process.

It's that^

I think all the cases that were backed up in VSC are now piled up in the USEM. Hopefully it's not another VSC type waiting game like what we just went through!

When you mentioned the word "has not been qualified", what came into my mind is that your case is in not yet in their system . Maybe USEM got your papers technically BUT they haven't input it in their system yet that is why they said that you are not qualified to get interview schedule.

Way back last year, I called them 3 days after I called them instead of calling them after a week and I successfully got a sched. :)

Hope you get sched soon :star:

To me the term means it did not qualify yet.

probably a load of cases need to be scheduled for an interview and yours was not one of them, so might be scheduled for the next month when they start the process.

You probably bought an $18 PIN and called the USEM call center. If so, the person you talked to is a call center employee rather than an USEM employee. If your papers are not yet entered into the USEM's system, the call center employee will always give you the stock answer that they read from their script: call back in two weeks.

My advice: call the call center at least every other day. Or, you can call the USEM directly and talk to Lorraine. Try using extension #5184 or #5185. Calling the USEM directly worked for us.

 Definately your best bet. I certainly wouldn't wait two weeks to call back. I bugged the living Hell out em. I don't know if it helped us get the interview any faster but it made me feel better. I don't blame ya one bit for being sick of the whole damn process. It is indeed a joke at best but you will get thru it and it's definately worth all the BS and hoops you have to jump thru in the end. Hang in their brother. I know it's not easy.
