oh yes, heaven forbid someone is exercising their constitution guaranteed rights and not breaking any laws, yet is subjected to being called a gun nut and worse.

What would happen if a person was hanging just outside of a military base, on private property carrying a gun and a sign that endorsed terrorism? Would you say he's just exercising his constitutional right or would he be posing as a potential threat?

gonna charge him as guilty until proven innocent? or a with a thought crime? or for carrying a sign that has historical references?

At a place where the President of the United States will be present. Yeah. I'm not buying the innocent defender of Freedom bit. It may be his right to carry, but it may also be someone else's right to stay alive should the guy have turned out to be another lunatic.

i musta missed that part of the constitution that forbids having a firearm where potus will be present.

So a Middle Eastern looking dude, legally carrying a registered gun and hanging just outside of a military base with a sign that advocates the violent overthrow of our government would just be exercising his constitutional rights?

reference charles previous post for an answer .... and why are you racial profiling?

I guess that's why there's laws by jurisdiction and security procedures to be followed when a US President will be somewhere.

Out of curiosity- was this guy present when Obama arrived? I don't have audio today so I can't tell.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Because you're being coy with your answer. If someone even remotely looked like a possible enemy of the state (signage, weapon, appearance), you can bet that he'd be apprehended and questioned at the very least. The military wouldn't just throw their arms up and say the guy is just exercising his constitutional right. In that situation, they could easily assess it as posing a threat.

It would be no different for the President as Commander in Chief.

We know exactly how he would end up.

Only low IQ dipsh-ts carry guns.

Endorsed by the international anyone with an IQ over 75 foundation.

Hold on there son, "interwho"?You know, other countries around this planet called earth. Earth? You lost me son. Constitution says America is earth. Earth is America. Heard it on Ruuuush.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I wouldn't say that. I just think that it is a clear security breach for the President as Commander in Chief. The man has every legal right to carry a gun, but not if doing so causing a potential threat to the President. That's all I'm saying.

Same logic. A rebuttal of an argument mentioning that a civilian with a weapon in presence of the POTUS as a potential threat by mentioning its absence from the US Constitution isn't really clear and suggests something you may not actually condone.

That's why I'd like to know if the guy was around when Obama was present. I think we can all agree that a security threat to a POTUS is a possibility any day and age.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Dude come on. What other developed country allows people to openly carry guns like it's the 1800 wild wild west.

Having a gun at home, I can understand. Don't agree with it either, but I can understand. There is no excuse for anyone, excluding law enforcement, to carry guns in public.

How many presidents need to be killed before the dumb cunts in this country wake up? I feel like defending Obama myself because it's only a matter of time before one of these dumb cunts pulls something off.
