What you are saying in these posts is confusing. Since this is a regional forum it is ok to write in Viet language. Do that if it will be easier to explain. People like me will ask our wives to translate or ask pity from our VN brothers and sisters here on VJ to translate. :)

If the document(s) being turned in are simple and straight forward then there is no reason to wait, just bring it in and get the pink slip.

Now if it is a timeline that needs to be examined and you want to try and speak with the CO about it, then go at the appointed time and hope that you can speak to the CO. But the timeline should explain everything clearly. If it does not, then maybe a longer delay.

In both cases the CO will look over what is being submitted. If it meets the requirement then you will leave with a pink slip. If it needs to be examined you will get a blue slip for administrative processing.

Dear anhMap

sorry please forgive me i was joke with you ,doesn't mean not thing ,sorry!!

John,

I want to disagree with you. When you go to submit early the person taking them will check to make sure you have what you need. Yes you are correct if you need to make changes it will delay the process, but.... If you wait until the day they request it then they might give you another blue slip so that they can look over the new paperwork you sent in. I have heard many people say they got a second blue slip and it just said they need time to look over the new evidence and that they will call or notify you when they make a decision and you are to simply just wait for them to contact you. I will tell everyone to make sure they have what they need, and to submit it early. They will not give you the visa early, but you can rest easy knowing that you already have turned it in. I also would say to have 2 copies both notorized and both must be EXACTLY THE SAME, have the person going back on the day they want the evidence there with the second set this is just to make sure that if it were to be miss placed you will still have the info to turn in on the day. Also it shows that you are prepared and that you are determined to get what you need/want. Jerome

John,

About Ituan’s case, I believe that this is a rare case, 2 percentages out of 100. To me, as you have enough the evidences you can turn in at anytime.

To other VJs, I took the survey of 10 cases, they are all my friends. I figured out why the CO put the date on the blue slip. It’s upon on the interview, if the CO knows the petitioner is outside the US Consulate, he will then give out the blue slip without the Date on it. So, the beneficiary or petitioner can turn in the evidences at anytime.

My friend case (he was in US when his fiancé had an interview)

- At the interview: CO asked: how many trips he visited you…. Answered, 2 trips, the CO gave out blue slip with the Date on it. His fiancé submitted the timeline 10 days later, she then got the pink.

My case, I was there during my fiancé had an interview.

- CO asked the same question……Answered: he visited 3 times, he is now outside at the US Consulate (My fiancé tried to let the CO knew that I was outside). The blue slip gave out without the Date on it. I turned in the timeline the same day, and got another blue slip for BC. I turned in BC the next day and got the pink.

Hello John,

I know each case is different and all we have is opnions. I just try to remember that and everything else seems to be easier to understand and to take in. No matter what you say or what I say people will do what they choose. What might work for me may not work for you and so on and so on. I hope that you can soon get the pink. It seems to me that you do care for your fiancee and that is what we are all working for. We need the pinks not the blues, we all need to just stick it out to the end and eventually we will all be happy, here or there it does not matter just as long as we are happy!

Good luck to all!

Jerome
