We received our NOA1 on July 09, 2009 and I know it may take a few months to receive our NOA2... I'm just wondering what comes next in the process.. Will I get my NOA2 before I have to send in the sponsor papers? And will I have to get papers from my fiance to send to USCIS? (police records, etc).. The only people I know going through this are doing the K-3.. So if anyone can help me out it would be appreciated! :)

Hi! I received the NOA sometime in June. I also have not received the 2nd NOA. I sent my sponsorship letter with my application so I really dont know about that but as far as getting the police records, x-rays, medical screening, and medical test done, that is something he is going to have to complete from where he or she may be. My fiance is in Nigeria, Africa and he has already started getting is police records and other legal documents (birth certificate, school records) together but be careful you dont want him to get them to soon. I have a friend that is nigerian who works with me that is helping us through the process. I hope this info was helpful. Mary
