I forgot the most obvious thing - we should do away with the prescription system so that people can be free to buy whatever drugs that they they feel will make them better.

Will that include narcotics??? Please say yes :)

Not that bad of an idea. I wouldn't have to travel to countries that don't regulate this and yet still don't have the dependence problems we have in this country.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Of course! The more the merrier!

If a person wants to invite a few friends and hookers over for an evening of alcohol, cigarettes and hallucinogenic drugs what right does anyone have to interfere? Once the gear is exhausted why not round off the evening with some friendly gambling games that involve knives and spread palms; and a revolver with a single bullet.

Now that I read that again I can't visualise any of that without thinking of eye-patches, bandanas and peg legs.

I guess its a pirate's life for we.

Actually, I mistakenly believed that's what one did here, when I saw all those adds for prescription medicine on the tv :(

If that comes to fruition I would advise you to invest heavily into the makers of brand name painkillers ;)

Excellent, adding this to my portfolio.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

That should apply generally, I feel. No need to report sales to the FBI just because a guy strolls into a Home Depot and buys 1000lbs of nitrate fertilizer for use on his houseplants and several large metal trash cans for his um... trash.

Its his business - the government shouldn't interfere ;)

there are enough lowes, home depots, ace hardware stores in this area that one could start the buying at 8:00am, pay in cash for a bag or two at each store, and exceed the 1000lbs by noon.

your point is?

Clearly you missed it, shot right over your head.

Don't feel too bad though, you are not alone. ;)

Indeed - but we also have the right to ridicule opinions that we disagree with ;)

Healthy living is common sense - it stands to reason that if all you eat are processed foods loaded with fat, salt and sugar as well as a couch potato approach to exercise you're clearly going to have problems.

*bows* Touche!

Lots of things lots of people think is "common sense" but the world is full of idiots completely lacking in common sense. I mean, one might say not blow drying your hair in a bathtub is common sense, but the idiots have still done it and think of all the costs associated with attaching and printing such warnings on blow dryers telling people not to take it in the bathtub with them. If "they" can't get that... there is no hope for them combating the call of Mickey D's.

... "what do you mean I can't live on big macs alone?"

Ah but that takes extra effort - why should the customer be inconvenienced by making multiple trips? Surely a single location should be sufficient to service his needs!

And who really wants to shop for four hours!?

Terrorisers you say?

I should say sir, that a customer's business once he parts with his cash is no business of ours. You see in a pure free market economy these questions are moot - that's the beauty of economic exchange. As a business owner the only sound you need hear is the ring of the cash register.

You know, not to get off the tangent of belittling his opinion and his experiences within his own organization. I like some of his suggestions. I am one of those people that think the government needs to get out and stay out of this particular matter. I'll be voting against the government getting more involved. I don't think health care is a right. That's my opinion, I have my own reasons for thinking the way I do.

Is this really going to be a vote by the people or is Congress and the Senate going to handle that?
