Hello, everybody.

Hope is all good with all you.

I would like to share with you my experience with AOS case and also ask if there is someone in the same situation or if you know someone who is suffering the same as me.

Well, on April we sent our AOS package to Chicago. One week later we got the NOA1 for all 3 forms. On May we had a biometrics and just 15 days after I got at home the EAD and Parole.

I was choqued because it was so fast, i was not waiting for this and felt so happy.

BUT on June they trasnferred our case to California Service Center to "Laguna Niguel" in order to "speed up" our process. Ok, since this day, we have never more had any news about the GC.

It has only one and unique update in the end of june, to say us that "the process was transfered and now is pending". After this, never more.

I would like to know is there is someone more that had the case transfered to California AFTER get the EAD and the Parole, because I have never seen this before. I have always seen processes sent to California and people getting the EAD, parole and after the GC. But I see is very strange they send me the EAD and Parole and only after this transfer my case to California and in almost 2 months it was transferred I have never more had any news about this.

I am confused and dont know if this is normal, if this is good or bad.

I have a trip planned to Brazil to take care of the arrangment for our Brazilian celebration and party, but I dont know if is safe I go with the parole or wait for the GC.

Thank you very much to everybody who can answer me.

God Bless all you.

Reagards,

Anna

HI,

Its not something to worry about, They don't follow any particular pattern to process one's AOS/EAD/AP. Normally ppl reported here, they get AP/EAD then GC in hand, so the same happend with you. It is wise to have GC in hand then travellin' anywhere u would want to go with ur wife...I am in the same boat as you are. My case is at CSC and my status tells exactly the same as yours. Pending processing means that your case is actually being reviewed by Immi officer and very soon (may be 2 months or so) you will be getting your GC in hand. Again my thoughts to you, Get GC then travel, its safer rather than flying to brazil on AP.

Cases transferred to CSC means no Interview, you will get approved.

Congrats!

Dear Linkin,

THANK YOU very much for your answer.

Your words were very importat to me and made me calmer.

I have seen lots of people traveling with parole, but I really dont believe this is safe.

Hope the GC does not take so long time, I am dieing for seeing my family again and

prepare our Brazilian wedding. Everybody calls me all the time to ask me "when" and

hurts me to say: " I dont know, I have no idea."

Is hard, but some day it will pass.

Peace be with all us.

Hugs,

Anna

Yes, I am in the same situation too - transferred on June 10th - no touches since then :(

In regards with the AP - why is it not safe to travel on it?? That is exactly the purpose of the document - if you were not out of status more than 180 days then it's perfectly fine to travel on the AP...I went through BC like a charm :)

GC, AP and EAD are sent in together but they are worked on and treated as 3 separate items.

Its a good thing when they send it to CSC because normally but not always that means you will not have to do an interview.

Not safe doesn't mean you can travel but the reason behind it, you never know what happens when you come back on AP, Its a travel document but yet most of the ppl at VJ infact in a real world suggest to hav GC in hand then travel anywhere...ATleast you would be relaxed that you have GC and you can go without any worries of coming back to US....The poster doesn't need to scared of what i said but its for his own safe journey...I also desperatly lookin to go backhome, but as i have waited that long so why not a little more...
