What supporting documents did you not send? USCIS would not have approved you if you had not included at least the minimum required.

Wait for the request for initial evidence then attach the yellow letter to the paperwork they request and return it CMRRR

that is not true....NVC sometimes approves cases they should not

it is unfortunate but sometimes it gets all the way to embassy and should have been RFEd

I believe the OP is talking about USCIS, not NVC. I have never read about anyone submitting only a petition without any of the required documentation and being approved.

yeh i was told to file just the I-130 and wait for the NOA1 and then send the I-129F packet. and yes USCIS approved both of them and they are been sent to NVC so hopefuly NVC sends me a notice to send in the documents I have them all just need to get a notice from NVC to send in. hopefully it does not slow my process that much. thanks

congrats on the approval :thumbs: and USCIS and NVC are two different steps once your packet gets to NVC they will request supporting documents if needed or they will ask your loved one at their interview, so don't sweat it, at least you jumped the first hurdle  i know you have to have sent the required info( birth certificate, g325a, passport photo, ect) but only provide what they ask for they will let you know if they need more.

again congrats
