Just to add few pointers to clarify few things:

Ours is CR1 case and guess the appointment letter in itself is a combined packet 3 and 4 together. It is an invitation letter for the interview and a small note informing which web site to go to check on medical examination.

I did not read each details and was waiting on some packet or some communication from US embassy in Cairo. I could not believe my very eyes the details on medical examination being right there in the email for appointment letter attached. My Oops.

But my super wife managed to call them in the morning and got an rush appointment that very same day and her examination went fine. Like you all beautiful people mentioned; she is supposed to call them after 4 days and come pick her envelop. They are promising to rush this - hopefully everything will be alright.

The final cost for examination was 411 LE.

Now we wait for Interview on 23rd. I can't believe that it is another $400 dollars for the interview process.

$400 for my Citizenship

$400 for I-130 USCIS

$400 for NVC

and now....

I just verified my marital status and thanks god - it says I am married. :) Nothing without a price I guess....
