Timeline

Hi Guys

We are in the final run of this process....what i need information on is the medical and interview.

i am set to go to London, what i want to know is.....

after i get the letter as to setting up the medical am i able to get the medical the same day as the interview or do i HAVE to go down

at least a week before?

you can have the medical on the same day. the only difference will be that at your interview you will be approved pending them recieving the medical results as it takes about 4 days for them to send the results to the embassy. so just a few more days delay. Well that is how it is for CR-1 visas but i presume it will be the same for K1 too

Got NVC Case no - 30 April 09

DS3032 generated - 1 May 09

Emailed DS3032 - 5 May 09

AOS fee paid online - 8 May 09

Sent AOS package - 13 May 09

Received IV email - 18 May 09

IV fee paid online - 10 June 09 (delay as was considering K3 at this point but the K3 interview was July 15th, so decided CR1 better and only 1 month longer!)

IV package sent - 17 June 09

CASE COMPLETE - 1 July 09

Interview date recieved via email - 9 July 09

Medical - 11 August 09

Interview 14 August 09

I would do the medicals at least a week in advance. Good luck!

K-1 TIMELINE:

05-11-2009: NOA1

05-20-2009: called the Military Help Line and requested for expedite

06-04-2009: NOA2

06-14-2009: NVC letter received in the mail

07-02-2009: Packet 4 received

08-27-2009: Interview - Visa approved!

09-03-2009: visa in hands.

09-20-2009: POE - Miami

09-21-2009: we got married!

AOS TIMELINE:

05-12-2010: NOA1

06-08-2010: Case transferred to CSC

06-21-2010: Biometrics
