Has anyone that has gotten this rather strange email actually gotten their NOA2? From the link of that other message board it sounds like a sort of conditional approval while waiting on something. Would be curious to know if anyone has actually seen the NOA2. Really hope they have!!!!

Can we get approved without receiving the RFE in the mail yet? We received the email stating the RFE was sent on 6/23, but haven't received it in the mail until now.

Just today we received this email:

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On July 8, 2006, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

Does this mean we are approved? We don't want to be too excited until we are sure we are approved. Thanks for your replies in advance.

I got the same email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't get my hopes up!!!!!!!!!!!! :o

I really think that this email means all preliminary processing was finished up to the need for the RFE information. So barring any complications with the RFE response, your case has been "conditionally" approved and once they input the RFE information and process the paperwork you will receive your approval. Hope it's fast and wish they could learn to speak English.

Has anyone gotten this message that was pre IMBRA? The ones I have seen (might have missed one) are all post IMBRA and also seem to have some issue with the RFE. If I am wrong someone let me know, but right now am leaning towards agreeing with Kitkat that it has something to do with the IMBRA RFE.

If someone has returned their RFE and gotten notice that it was received and answered yes to any of the questions and then gotten one of these messages it would be interesting to know also.

Since people are also getting the standard approval email i really suspect that this has something to do with the IMBRA RFE.

You might be right. I just wanted to let you know I did get this message before but not as an email. It was on my online status after they mailed me my NOA1.

I just checked my online status and it says, " the document we made.....was mailed directly to the person whom issued." This is the same message I got on my online status on April 12 after I got my Noa1!
