They will probably say that Bangkok is the head of the military. Lop Buri is for sure the seat of power. Ask Mr. Anupong. I thought Mr. T was running things until I woke up and saw tanks in the street. Abhisit knows it, and so does the rest of the MPs.

From the felling I get it goes the King then the army then the government in the order of power. Maybe not on paper.

Yeah true. King can't say it though. That place is gonna fall apart when he dies. It's kinda sad they don't allow females to run things. Maha Chakri Srindorn should be the next leader. Unfortunately, they'll give it to Vajiralongkorn.

yeap, I got that same feeling from my wife. The people don't respect or love Vajiralongkorn. I would not rule out a military coup and a power play by Thaksin Shinawatra after the kind dies. I would not want to be in Bangkok after the king dies.

Thaksin should be killed. The sooner the better. I have never felt hatred like I do for that man. My wife and her family think he is a good man. We have had some fall-outs over that. We just agree to disagree at this point.

It's gonna be a mess when the King dies.

Nan and her family don't talk. but they are in involved with the local government at the District level, The head of the District is her uncle, other one is a major and her aunt work there to. Even Nan works part time write letters for the major.

I know Nan's family will be safe where they live with the Army base and all, Plus her uncle as and army office.

I agree its going to be a mess. Thaksin Shinawatra will do a power play and try to buy his way back. The question is can he pay the army off Thaksin Shinawatra power is his money. I don't think he has the people that will fight the army and die for him. It has the making of getting bloody for a little bit. But not a civil war.

Political assassination comments for heads of state, or former, are not in alignment with the VJ TOS. Please refrain from this level of commentary going forward. Your frustration is duly noted, but assasination comments are not an option here....

They love him up north. He pays the Kanaam in all the villages. He's not a stupid man. Hopefully Abhisit is smarter. You are definitely right. It is all about the Army.

In my case Thaksin was god send. I did 30 day visa runs constantly. When the military took over all that stopped. I had to go to Singapore and get a REAL visa. Pain in my ####, but made things easier down the road.

How is that political? The guy is convicted criminal. He is a murderer on the run. Look it up. He is not a head of state.

Rayong (family) and Samutprakarn (now).

On my most recent trip I had AM/PM disorientation (regarding my return flight).

If the airport I had to go to was still Don Muang, I would have been out the

price of my return ticket, because I realized that I'd been wishfully thinking

I wanted to stay in Thailand longer and screwed myself out of 12 more

hours of blissful boinking. :crying::devil::wacko:

Luckily I was able to get to Suvanaphumi in 30 min.

which would have been impossible with Don Muang. :dance:

For my own part, I'll follow her lead as to forming any opinions.

Naturally I'll have my own, but I'll defer to hers.

If the airport I had to go to was still Don Muang, I would have been out the

price of my return ticket, because I realized that I'd been wishfully thinking

I wanted to stay in Thailand longer and screwed myself out of 12 more

hours of blissful boinking. :crying::devil::wacko:

Luckily I was able to get to Suvanaphumi in 30 min.

which would have been impossible with Don Muang. :dance:

I see you looking John....:dance:

What you mean you see me looking ??
